Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel your plan anytime, directly from your dashboard. Here'sexactly what happens when you cancel, and how refunds work.
Cancelling your plan
You're in control of your subscription — cancel whenever you want, no email or support ticket needed:
- Go to your Billing page.
- Choose the plan you want to cancel.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Since static and web service plans are separate, cancelling onedoesn't affect the other. You can cancel just your web service plan and keep your static plan, or the reverse.
What happens after you cancel
When you cancel, your plan stops renewing — you won't be charged again for that plan. Your paid features stay active until the end of the current billing cycle you've already paid for.
After that cycle ends, that track moves to its free tier. Anything that fits within the free tier's limits keeps running; anything beyond those limits may be paused until you're within free limits or upgrade again.
Cancelling stops future charges. It doesn't delete your account or services — you can resubscribe anytime, and your services and settings are still there.
Refund policy
Riven subscriptions are billed in advance for each billing cycle and are non-refundable. When you cancel, you keep access to your paid plan through the end of the cycle you've already paid for, but the amount already paid for that cycle isn't refunded.
We don't charge you again after you cancel, so cancelling always stops your next payment — you're never locked into a cycle youdidn't choose.
When we may refund
While subscriptions are non-refundable as a rule, we look at genuine issues case-by-case. If something went clearly wrong on our end — a billing error, a duplicate charge, or a major service problem that prevented you from using what you paid for — reach out and we'llreview it fairly.
Refunds in these cases are at our discretion and depend on the situation. The best first step is always to contact us and explain what happened.
Your data & services
Cancelling a plan doesn't delete your data. Your services, environment variables, domains, and settings remain in your account. What changes is the plan level — you move to the free tier for that track.
If you want to fully remove everything, you can delete individual services, or delete your account entirely from your settings. Deleting is permanent and can't be undone.
