Authentication

Authenticate the Riven CLI or MCP Server using a Personal Access Token (PAT).

A Personal Access Token is required to access the Riven CLI and MCP Server.

1Create a Personal Access Token

Open the following page in your browser:

https://app.rivendeploy.com/mcp

Create a new Personal Access Token and copy it. Your token will begin with rnv_.

Use this token when signing in to the Riven CLI or configuring the MCP Server.

Your Personal Access Token is displayed only once when it is created. Store it in a safe place. If you lose it, revoke the token and create a new one.
